Issue #1 Spring/Summer 2026
The Demiurge is a journal of occult and esoteric knowledge, philosophy and art. Our goal is to create a stage for new and old voices to share their current studies, insights and creations, providing authors and artists to reach interested people in Europe and beyond. That's why, even though we are based in Berlin, Germany, we will publish in English to make the content accessible to the most amount of people possible.
A Journal, as opposed to a Magazine, focus less on popular topics for the general public and more on specialised and tailored content for an interested audience.
Each issue will explore several types of content, instead to focusing on one single area of the vast ocean that is occultism. So any of these are welcome, but don't limit yourself to this list, any type of spiritual knowledge is welcome and will be considered carefully:
ABSOLUTELY NOT. If there's any trace of AI being used in any of the submissions, it will be immediately discarded, no questions asked. Of course, sometimes it's not immediately visible if AI was used or not, but we'll make the most effort to avoid it. The goal of this periodical is to provide real human spirituality acquired through genuine connection with the Divine and research. AI has no soul and therefore can't experience higher planes as humans do. It can be useful for mundane tasks, yes, but we are of the opinion that it should be kept away from spiritual work and the Arts.
The goal is to have both digital (in the form of e-book) and physical media (on demand printing). Whether that will be possible or not depends only on the alignment of the stars.
This is still not set in stone. Initially the idea is to have it two or three times a year. If that proves to be too much or too little, we'll adjust accordingly.
Pricing is still not set in stone, but the idea is to keep it as affordable as possible, so that more people can access it. The digital version will probably be around 5-10 euros and the physical version will depend on printing and shipping costs.

We'll do our best to read and respond to every enquire as soon as possible, but this is basically voluntary work, so please be patient.

This is a labor of love and profit is not the goal, therefore it also has no funds. Please, consider this carefully: if you submit to The Demiurge, accept that there may be no compensation.
With that in mind, we would absolutely love to pay each and every author and artist that are published, so depending on sales and amount of money that returns from this endeavor, we'll do what we can to make that happen.
